There are many different kinds of decks based on the tricks you want to do. Most of the decks are named after the tricks being done with them. A lot of times you can find some of these trick decks at dollar stores. A few examples of how they are trick decks are:
Cards are marked on the back very subtly and in a pattern so you know what card it is from the back.
Cards narrow slightly so when a card is placed in the deck after being turned it is easy to find.
A deck with 1/2 of the cards being 1 card (Ace of Spades for example) and being slightly smaller than the others. When you hold the deck and flip through it one way the audience sees the 1/2 deck and it looks normal. When you do it the other way they only see the specific card.
